Happy Happy Birthday!

Oh my dearest Grandpa Jack

Happy Happy Birthday!
(a day late :) )

How grateful I am for you,
for all you've given me.
Without you and your sweet angel companion
I would not be where I am today.

Since I was a little girl
I always knew I could find love in your arms.
Thank you for loving me
for being a strength I could always rely upon
and for having a home which I could call my own.

As I've watched you over the years
I've come to see the wonderful man
that my grandma fell in love with as a young girl.
I only hope that someday
I will be able to marry a man just like you.
Thank you for raising a my Mother
for giving her that light in her eyes
and blessing her with your wonderful wisdom.
Thank you for loving my father as your own son
for loving him and accepting him as he is.
I love you more than words can say
Hope you had a Wonderful and Happy Birthday
and many many more to come!

xoxo

BLESSED!

Promise I will catch up on all the madness SOON!
But as for now
I'm going to enjoy
this

with these lovelies

“Reflect … on the unique phenomenon that general conference itself is—what we as Latter-day Saints believe such conferences to be and what we invite the world to hear and observe about them. We testify to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people that God not only lives but also that He speaks.”
- Elder Jeffrey R. Holland

“the servants of the Lord will counsel us. You may listen with anxious ears and hearts, or you may turn that counsel aside. … What you shall gain will depend not so much upon their preparation of the messages as upon your preparation for them.”
- President Boyd K. Packer

“If you trust God enough to listen for His message in every sermon, song, and prayer in this conference, you will find it. If you then go and do what He would have you do, your power to trust Him will grow, and in time you will be overwhelmed with gratitude to find that He has come to trust you.”
- President Henry B. Eyring

Whether you've been thoroughly enriched
by the words of Conference before
or you've never had the wonderful opportunity
I encourage you to do so.
It will change your life
as it has mine.

ENJOY every minute.
I know I will
xoxo

Back 2 Blogging. Birthdays. Brothers. BETTER!

I've been a TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE Blogger!
My last post was Christmas.....
P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C
I know.

The last 4 months have been a complete whirldwind
but I've really missed blogging.
Being able to get things out into actual words
has always been a source of empowerment for me
SO
I'm back
and hopefully I can get back into the rhythm of things
and fill in the gaps :)

BUT as for now
I'll start with this handsome fellow!

It's his birthday today
so I took a little trip down memory lane....
I can't believe its been 20 years

20 years ago today I was blessed with the most wonderful blessing
I could ever ask for.

This boy has kept me on my toes each and everyday.
He's made me laugh and smile
when I thought the tears would never stop.
Although he is no longer a little boy
I will forever cherish the memories he gave me growing up.

Crashing bikes
Fishing ponds
Mudpies
Outdoor bathrooms
Earwigs
a Little LOST boy
Pee wee football
T-ball games
Indoor soccer tournaments
Beach days
Golf beginnings
Toilet Paper brigades
Late night Beto's runs
Roaptrips
Long night talks
Timp Hikes
sneaking out of the house
and everything in between.....

I once heard a quote that went something like this;
The beauty of memories lie not in the ones we can remember
but in the ones which escapes our minds grasp.

How beautiful a life I have
A life full of SO many wonderful memories
that I can't even remember them all.

Watching this little boy
grow into the man that he has become today
has been a blessing that can never be repaid.
I don't know how I ever have or ever will deserve such a blessing in my life
But how grateful I am for him :)

Happy 20th Birthday my dearest brother!
I miss you more than words can say
but there has never been a sister more proud!

I love you
always and forever
xoxo
